The classic books of the world are often consulted to acquire knowledge. The #1 Classic Book is the Christian Bible

Why I chose to do a blog

This is a blog that is intended to explore some of the mysteries of God. Some might seek such answers in those books called “The Classics.” But, no book on earth has been read more, published more, translated more, nor revered more than the Bible. Yet the Bible contains many conundrums — questions that seem unanswerable. This blog will be focused on answering many such questions. However, to support my book, the first major topic will center around the question:

Do God’s plans for the Christians include any plans for the Jews?

I ask this question because it seems that the answer must be “Yes” since the Christian Bible includes two parts: one that tells the story of the Jews (the Old Testament) and one that tells the story of Christianity (the New Testament). Yet, when I asked my Christian pastor if my dear Jewish friends were going to go to heaven, his reply was unsettling, if not expected. He simply quoted scripture from the New Testament that said you must believe in Jesus to be saved. As a devout Christian, I knew his answer was technically correct, but I felt in my gut that we were both missing something. Why would two-thirds of the Bible be devoted to the Jews if only to have the last third essentially cut them out of God’s will and rob them of the rewards of eternal life with God?

Below is a list of topics covered in my blogs. The larger the print, the more often the topic is used. You have the choice to read my blogs in the order they were published or choose a subject that interests you. (Note: Each blog is protected under copyrights accruing to Jim Casparie).
