To those who read my blogs but do not subscribe:
Over the past several weeks, you’ve probably noticed a lot of changes on my website and blogsite: some good, some frustrating. This is what happens when you venture down the trail of publishing a book. Websites need to be updated, and the commercial page to buy your book must be created (and work!) And, anytime you change things on a computer, “stuff” happens, and things don’t always work the way it was intended.
If you’re on my subscriber list, I’ve tried to keep you up to date (a reason to subscribe). However, since many of you don’t subscribe, I wanted to explain what’s going on.
- My book, “God (Still) Has BIG Plans for the Jews,” has been officially published. The print version is now available on Amazon and most online book retailers. I apologize for the price, but I made a decision from the beginning to be transparent about the sources of everything that went into my book (blue type for Bible quotes, red type for outside references, and black for my own words). Color is expensive to print, so my decision proved costly, but I stand by it. The Kindle version will be available on Amazon soon ($9.99), and we’re exploring a PDF format; however, it will require basic security protections (like DRM).
- My blogs have been a little erratic lately as I’ve had to deal with the numerous issues of updating my website, setting up a commercial page, and catching and removing all the nasty little glitches that are inevitable. Please be patient. This, too, will pass. My goal is to publish every two weeks.
I know there’s always a reluctance to subscribe to a newsletter, but I’d be grateful to all who are willing to do so. I promise not to abuse your trust, and it does help in creating a base from which I can solicit ideas for future blogs and/or books.
Thank you for your support,
Jim Casparie
Brought the hard copy of your book but haven’t yet read. Enjoy reading your blog.
