One day, the Jews will sing a song of victory after defeating the Antichrist
Estimated reading time: 5 minutes
Will not even a Remnant of the Jews be Saved?
If this were a mystery novel, we’d be at the point where the mystery is about to be revealed. The question is: Do you think there is a mystery to be solved? In other words, have I convinced you that God just might have a card up His sleeve to save the Jews (or at least a remnant of the Jews)?
I’m going to take the next step in laying out my case in this edition. My prayer is that by the end of this article, you will begin to see that God does indeed have a plan for the Jews.
A Very Telling Song is Sung
Let’s begin this edition by looking at the very end of God’s story. One of the points I made for God having a plan to save the Jews was taken from Revelation 15 (NKJV) where “those who have the victory over the beast,” “sing the song of Moses.” I then asked, ”Who but the Jews would sing this song? Who but the Jews would know it?” Then, did you notice? They also sang “the song of the Lamb.” Do you find it curious that the people celebrating the victory over Satan and the antichrist are singing praises to both Moses and Jesus? It seems clear to me that this group must consist of Jews who have now recognized Jesus for who He is and are singing His praises!
Let’s review some of the context surrounding the Book of Revelation that led us to this point:
- The Book of Revelation covers prophecies from the Apostle John concerning the End of Times.
- In the Book, John predicts a period of 7 years (called the Tribulation) where evil, in the form of the antichrist, proclaims Himself to be god and attempts to take control of the world. This is made possible because, prior to his appearance, the world had descended into chaos and been consumed by an evil that had not been seen since God sent the Flood.
- This will be the final confrontation between God and Satan. During the first three and one-half years, the antichrist will seem to have miraculously solved many of the world’s problems and, as a result, will rise to become the head of a “one world order.” Shortly after he achieves this goal, he will enter the “Holy of Holies” in the Jewish Temple (which, by another miracle, will be rebuilt) ((There is an organization dedicated to rebuilding the 3rd Temple – The Temple Institute (https://templeinstitute.org/). They have detailed plans for construction, and they are training a new generation of priests on how to conduct proper Jewish sacrifices. I’d also direct your attention to an interesting (but not totally accurate) video on the rebuilding of the Temple (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Je-E69MVgNQ ). It has great graphics, but the theory of the red heifer (in my opinion) is not accurately interpreted.)) and declare himself to be god. This is commonly referred to as the “Abomination of Desolation” – the ultimate insult to God!
- This act by the antichrist will trigger a reaction from God unlike any that has been seen in the history of the world. It will ultimately lead to the end of the world as we know it. But, before God unleashes His wrath onto the world, God will remove all Christians through something we all know as “The Rapture.” All Christians, both living and dead, will be raised to meet Jesus in the sky, where He will point them to the safety of heaven.
- This raises an interesting question: If all the Christians are removed mid-Tribulation, who will be left to fight the antichrist and provide hope and salvation to those poor people left on earth? There are two witnesses mentioned, but their role seems focused on criticizing the antichrist, not redeeming the people.
Yet, when we fast-forward to the end – after Satan and the antichrist have been defeated, who do we find celebrating? A group of Jews singing the Song of Moses and the Song of the Lamb! Why is this significant?
- They sing the Song of Moses because the last time Moses’ song was sung was after God defeated Pharoah, the ultimate symbol of power and evil in the Old Testament! And why did God defeat Pharoah? To save the Jews from his domination and persecution. In Revelation, it is sung to celebrate God’s victory over the antichrist who was trying to dominate and persecute anyone who opposed him.
- They sing the Song of the Lamb because they have now recognized that Jesus is their Messiah and they are praising Him for all He has done!
Summing it Up
In the Old Testament, the Jews were entirely dependent upon God to save them from Pharoah. He did so in a miraculous and spectacular way! All God asked of them was to exercise a modicum of faith and paint their doorposts with the blood of an unblemished lamb.
In the New Testament, can you think of a people better prepared to face the antichrist than the Jews? They have a history of battling Satan over the temptations of life as they struggled to keep the Law given to them by God. No one has been more rejected, no one has been more reviled, and no one has been more tortured by humanity than the Jews. Revelation 7 introduces a force of 144,000 Jews, but for centuries, it has been unclear as to what role these Jews might play, much less how they appear on the scene. Yet, what appears clear to me is that they play a vital role in defeating the antichrist and saving those living under his influence!
Why else would they be singing victory songs at the end? Why else would the 12 gates of the new heaven be named after the 12 tribes of Israel?
The only missing ingredient is “How?” For that, I’m afraid you’ll have to read my book. There is just too much detail to cover in this brief blog. My book should be ready for release later this year and will appear on this site. In the meantime, I shall continue to reveal “bits and pieces” of my vision in this blog.
