Answering the mystery of the Exodus

These films by Tim Mahoney reveal long-kept secrets

 Estimated reading time: 4 minutes

Do you believe in miracles?

The story of Moses and the Exodus from Egypt contains some of the greatest miracles ever told. To sort them out, I will turn again to Tim Mahoney. If you watched “The Moses Controversy,” you should be excited – he does an excellent job! Here’s a link where you can watch the trailers to the following films (https://store.patternsofevidence.com/products/patterns-of-evidence-4-feature-films):

If you want to know just a bit more about Tim, go to this link: https://www.patternsofevidence.com/journey/  Tim’s goal for those who watch these films are to help you answer (taken from his website):

  • The Exodus: Did the Exodus out of Egypt occur as told in the Bible?
  • The Moses Controversy: Did Moses write the first five books of the Bible?
  • The Red Sea Miracle: Where did the Israelites cross the Red Sea?
  • And ultimately, is there evidence that supports the Bible?

What makes a “God miracle” special?

If you take the time to watch these films, you’ll be amazed. But don’t expect to be 100% convinced. As Tim points out (and I would echo), when God performs a miracle, He isn’t required to conform to known scientific principles or laws. In fact, that is entirely what a true miracle is all about – it only conforms to God! These are some of the earlier films by Tim so, in my opinion, they are not as well done as the Moses film. In fact, to be honest, they are not as tightly constructed as I’d like. But there is still some great content!

For example, suppose someone actually found evidence of Pharoah’s lost army at the bottom of the Red Sea?  Would that help? Well, without making any claims, take a gander at the photos below. Without revealing any secrets, these photos were taken in the only place where artifacts suggesting a crossing have ever been found (And, yes, the images have been enhanced to show better what is being seen).

And, in case you were wondering, here’s what an actual Egyptian chariot wheel looked like:

I will admit that I am shamelessly using these photos to get you to watch Tim’s films. The end result may not be (OK, it won’t be) what you expect, but my prayer is – it will strengthen your faith.

More Evidence for those who want more

And, while I’m at it, you might want to check out the latest release by Patterns of Evidence, “God of Heaven and Earth,” which was released on Nov 5, 2023. You can see the trailer here:

I know I’m beginning to look like an advertisement for Patterns of Evidence, but of all the entities I’ve seen (or read) who have done research into these subjects, Patterns of Evidence’s approach is the most thorough, understandable, and believable. If any of you have seen better, please share!
